WomenINvestEU Matchmaking on Healthtech

WomenINvestEU is inviting entrepreneurs from women-led startups and women in C-level positions developing healthtech solutions to apply for its first online matchmaking event. This session, happening on 18 June, from 10:30 to 11:30 CEST, is a chance to pitch your solution to the experienced, gender-conscious investors in our network.

For this first event, we are looking for healthtech startups, which should be developing digital or AI tools, medical devices, therapeutics, biotechnology or other technologically advanced solutions to tackle challenges in the healthcare system. 
 

Selected startups should be:

• women-led or have women in C-level positions;
• based in Europe;
• in the  stages of development/commercialization (min TRL6);
• developing a disruptive, impactful healthtech solution with a competitive advantage in the market.

The evaluation process and preparation for the event will follow the estimate timeline outlined below:

• 12 May - Deadline for applications;
• 12 May to 20 May 2025 – Evaluation of the applications;
• 21 May 2025 – Communication of the call’s results to the selected startups;
• 26 May to 13 June 2025 – Pitch training sessions with selected startups;
• 18 June 2025 – Event Day.

Why join?

• This is a chance to level up your pitching skills and forge important connections with gender-smart investors, creating opportunities for future deals.
   
• Before the event, selected entrepreneurs will be invited to dedicated training sessions to help them deliver the best pitch on the event day.
  • The sessions will focus on strategic topics such as innovation disruption, team, product/service, go2market strategy, impact and financial plan.
  • The training sessions will be scheduled according to availability of each selected entrepreneur;
  • Online training sessions will be hosted in Microsoft Teams.
• During the matchmaking event, entrepreneurs will be able to introduce their startup to a curated list of members of the European Network of Gender-Conscious Investors with a track record in supporting women-led healthtech startups in their markets.
• Finally, entrepreneurs will get the chance to be invited to one-to-one meetings with investors in the aftermath of the event, in order to explore potential follow-ups and deals.
