Noxon and Minimist, two of the companies featured in WomenINvestEU matchmaking events, closed Seed funding rounds in March 2026. Learn more about their work and discover the latest advancements in women-led innovation.
Noxon
Featured in WomenINvestEU’s very first matchmaking event, Noxon has developed a Muscle-Computer Interface that combines continuous muscle diagnostics and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES). Their solution, OCIAN, runs on a compact wearable electronic unit that captures and transfers bidirectional signals between the patient’s muscles and a cloud system.
This seed funding round was led by leading German funds HTGF – High-Tech Gründerfonds and Bayern Kapital, with participation from Auxxo, which is represented in the WomenINvestEU network, and from another institutional investor.
What’s next for Noxon?
The capital will be used to advance the clinical validation of Noxon’s solution, as well to prepare the market launch of its first therapy modules.
In the meantime, the company is also collaborating with leading medical partners, including the University Hospital Würzburg and the neuroscience group N-Squared Lab, on additional pilot applications aimed at restoring muscle control where brain-to-muscle signal transmission is compromised, including tremor reduction for Parkinson's patients.
“The support from HTGF and Bayern Kapital enables us to further validate our platform technology clinically and bring our first products to market. Our goal is to make muscle health transparent, personalized, and affordable for everyone”, revealed Maria Neugschwender, CEO and Co-founder of the company.
Minimist
Minimist announced the closing of its €1M investment round shortly after the company’s participation on the Matchmaking on Circular Fashion and Design Solutions. Their AI-powered listing tool allows second-hand retailers to convert a single product photo into a complete, marketplace-ready listing in under 30 seconds and simultaneously upload it on several websites, allowing them to compete with fast fashion brands in the digital market.
Led by Tilia Impact Ventures (with support from InvestEU), the round included additional backing from notable industry-insider investors, as well as a grant by the Vienna Business Agency.
What’s next for Minimist?
According to Minimist, the money raised in the latest round will allow them to fast-track new AI-powered tools to tackle two of the biggest hurdles in online resale: high return rates due to size inaccuracies and lack of attractive presentation. Minimist is developing a feature to accurately measure the size of each unique item, as well as "virtual try-on" technology allowing second-hand garments to be displayed on digital models.
Their ultimate goal is to allow second-hand listings to not only compete, but actually outperform new goods in online marketplaces.
