Akira Science AB develops bioresorbable polymer scaffolds for soft-tissue support after breast-conserving surgery. Their solution maintains space in partial-volume voids and promotes natural soft tissue growth, while resorbing over 12 months.
Cacto Health
Cacto Health is behind the first home-based solution for early detection of lymphedema in breast cancer survivors. Patients self-monitor weekly using a patented bioimpedance device, detecting fluid changes before visible swelling and enabling timely treatment while the condition is still reversible.
Hugup
Hugup has developed the first wearable exoskeleton for pregnancy, relieving the back and pelvic pain that affects two out of three pregnant women. Their solution has been clinically validated by Poland's leading maternal health institution, with the patent pending in 5 jurisdictions.
Mastitia
Mastitia develops microbiome-based solutions to prevent mastitis in breastfeeding mothers. Their product is a natural, clinically validated prevention cream designed to reduce mastitis risk, antibiotic use, and support healthier outcomes for mothers and infants.
Meliodays Medical GmbH
Meliodays Medical GmbH has designed MelioOne, a new medical device for hormone-free, local treatment of menstrual pain. By addressing the intrauterine inflammation at its source, they provide an effective pain management solution without systemic side effects.
MIMA Technologies P.C.
MIMA Technologies P.C. is a deep-tech medical device startup. They are developing a non-ionizing, compression-free, 3D Microwave Breast Imaging (MWBI) scanner that detects breast cancer in dense tissue where standard mammography falls short.
Rapidemic
Rapidemic has developed the world’s first fully equipment-free molecular diagnostic test for single-visit and at-home testing of infectious diseases. Their first product is an ultrafast test for multiplex diagnosis of highly prevalent sexually transmitted infections (STIs), chlamydia and gonorrhea.
TrialMe
TrialMe addresses the underrepresentation of women in clinical trials through a digital platform that connects sponsors with motivated female participants. This reduces the chances of severe adverse effects in women due to poor representation in clinical trials and helps sponsors save billions by preventing recruitment delays.
Uvisa Health
Uvisa Health is a medical device and digital health company pioneering infection care with a first-of-its-kind, drug-free, light-based solution for common vaginal infections. Their solution addresses the limitations of current antimicrobial treatments and antimicrobial resistance.

About the WomenINvestEU Matchmaking Events
As a part of its effort to expand the gender-focused investment ecosystem across Europe, WomenINvestEU is organizing online matchmaking events to connect women-led startups with members of its European Network of Gender-Conscious Investors.
Representatives of women-led startups, as well as startups with women in C-level positions, can apply for the chance to participate in these events through regular open calls. The selected startups will also receive pitching support on strategic topics, in order to prepare for their interactions with the gender-conscious investors in attendance.
