Female Founders & Investors Aperitivo at the Engaged Investments Conference

WomenINvestEU is organizing a networking event at the Engaged Investments Conference, on 22 October, in Prague, Czechia, from 17:00 to 19:30 (CEST). This Female Founders & Investors Aperitivo will kick off with a panel discussion, followed by a networking cocktail.

The panel on “Scaling Funds & Startups – Lessons Learnt and Future Outlook” will create a space for open conversations between gender-conscious investors and female founders, grounded on the shared purpose to scale up, invest and innovate. The conversation will also touch on how to build sustainable networks among gender-conscious investors in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and Baltics.

Confirmed panel participants include:

• Camilla Sievers, Partner & Tech Investor at i5growth and member of the Global Board at Columbia Venture Community. Featured on Forbes 30Under30, two-time founder and advisor on women empowerment.
• Sandra Golbreich, General Partner at BSV Ventures and Co-founder of Baltic Sandbox Accelerator. Early-stage deep tech & life science investor and educator in angel investing and innovation programs.
• Paulina Mazurek, Co-founder and CEO of BEIT, a quantum physics company developing next-generation computational drug discovery tools and Founding Partner at Bitspiration VC.
• Lucia Cerchlan, Co-founder of LUMUS Investment Collective and Head of Founder Experience at BACKED VC, who will be acting as moderator.

After the panel, we invite all speakers and audience members to gather for an informal networking cocktail and aperitivo, forge connections and dive deeper into discussions about financing and supporting women-led startups. Additionally, we will share more information about WomenINvestEU’s activities that support this effort, as well as how investors can contribute and join the network.

Organized in collaboration with Rockway Ventures and the Lummus Investment Collective, the event will allow those joining Engaged Investments, the professional VC conference connecting ambitious founders with active investors from the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and Baltics, to come together to reflect on the topic of gender-conscious investment and build new connections with their peers.
